Common questions

What clients ask us before reaching out

If your question isn't here, it's probably on the service page — or just send us a message and we'll come back with a direct answer.

Yes. We work with both Romanian and international clients, communicating in English as well as Romanian. Most of our corporate and immigration matters involve foreign investors, foreign-owned Romanian companies, or foreign nationals relocating to Romania.

Our office is in Globalworth Campus, Sector 2, Bucharest — at Str. George Constantinescu 2-4. We work with clients across Romania and remotely; in-person meetings at our office are available by appointment.

The initial consultation to understand your situation and outline the legal framework is free. Engagement fees for specific matters are agreed in advance in writing, so you know what to expect.

The most common vehicle is the SRL (limited liability company), which a foreigner can set up with a single shareholder. We prepare the articles of association, handle Trade Registry filings, arrange the registered office, and deliver the CUI (tax ID). The process typically takes a few days once documents are complete.

Non-EU nationals need a long-stay visa (type D) matching the purpose of stay — employment, business, studies, family reunification — followed by a residence permit issued by the General Inspectorate for Immigration. EU citizens register their residence directly without requiring a visa.

No. Under the Romanian Labor Code, termination requires a specific legal ground — such as disciplinary misconduct, professional unfitness, or redundancy (position elimination). Each ground has strict procedural requirements. Unlawful termination exposes the employer to reinstatement orders and damages.
